Raoul Schrott -, born in 1964, is a writer and literary scholar who has dealt intensively with Dadaism and Surrealism. Between 2005 and 2008 he retranslated Homer's Iliad. A new translation of Hesiod's Theogony followed in 2014. His work First Earth aroused great astonishment and admiration. Epos, in which he attempts to shoot the gap between poetry and science. He is currently working on a book about the constellations of the different cultures of the world.
