Acclaimed by audiences and critics alike, Piotr Beczala is one of the most sought-after tenors of our time and a regular guest at the world's major opera houses.

The 20/21 season begins for Piotr Beczala with a recital and soprano Sondra Radvanovsky at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona. This is followed by a benefit concert at the Konzerthaus Vienna and the popular "ZDF New Year's Eve Concert" with the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden and principal conductor Christian Thielemann at the Semperoper Dresden. Further concerts and recitals take him to Graz (Musikverein), Vienna (Konzerthaus) and Warsaw (Teatr Wielki). As part of the Great Voices concert series, the tenor performs at the Philharmonie im Gasteig in Munich and the Vienna Konzerthaus and travels to Moscow to give a gala concert at the famous Tchaikovsky Concert Hall with the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Marc Piollet. A recital tour with pianist Sarah Tysman will take him to Oviedo, Las Palmas, La Palma, Barcelona and Madrid, where he will give a gala concert at the Teatro Real. He can also be heard performing Verdi's Messa da Requiem at the Grafenegg Festival. On the opera stage, Piotr Beczala starts the season at the Teatr Wielki in Warsaw in the role of Werther in Massenet's Werther. The Kammersänger of the Vienna State Opera can also be heard twice at the famous opera house: as Werther in Werther and as the Prince in Rusalka. Other highlights of the season include Lucia di Lammermoor (Edgardo) at the Zurich Opera House and Lohengrin at the Bayreuth Festival.
