“All for one, one for all!” is the motto symbolizing an incorruptible friendship that is renewed in this show. The Italian musical version of Alexandre Dumas’s most famous novel becomes a surprising live performance, where music, prose, and dance alternate in an engaging and moving story. It tells a timeless tale in which the protagonists bring to the stage the strength of their bond, where “good” and “evil” clash with values such as honor, loyalty, and honesty at the center—values too often challenged by the myth of modern man, yet proudly upheld by the three musketeers on the tips of their swords.

Alongside friendship, there is also love—the driving force of every action—which here is embodied in the encounter between D’Artagnan and Constance, a love that will be shattered by the thirst for revenge of the other female protagonist, the wicked Milady. The finale will restore balance, but the audience will leave with a bittersweet feeling: perhaps because the “good” have suddenly become “bad,” or because death itself remains the one mystery that makes us small and vulnerable—one that even modern man cannot unravel.
