Viktor Gernot - Don't you?

Don't you? A phrase that is added endlessly to the end of a sentence in the German language. As a sign to express his conviction? Or his insecurity? From principled know-it-all? Or because of the fact that one knows exactly that one is wrong? Isn't it? Is it not? And in various dialects from "Ned?" to "Hoscht mi?" to "Nmh?". Questions over questions. And that in the postfactual age. Where false information no longer arises from ignorance and bad research. Rather with the pure intention of manipulating, or simply to put an untruth effectively into the world. Or out of pure stupidity. Ancient wisdom and beliefs are called into question. In addition the fact that one encounters many things on the Internet, but in the rarest case the truth. Media, politics, showbiz, literature, up to relationship, circle of friends and family. All swindlers, manipulators, liars? Or just too lazy to think and ask questions? You can talk, joke, sing and play about it. With, by and with Viktor Gernots new solo cabaret "Nicht wahr? Isn't it?

After his duo excursions with Michael Niavarani and Monika Gruber, the hectic Best Of, and after meanwhile four solo programs, there is the new cabaret personality show. 15 years have passed since his solo debut, a full 30 years since his early beginnings at the Graumanntheater in Vienna. On this long career path around 2000 performances have gathered in beautiful Austria. Dozens of TV broadcasts of the shows with industry-related quota records, DVD productions with a multitude of number 1 placements in the charts. And with the Ybbser Funvogel, the great Austrian cabaret prize, as well as the Salzburger Stier, further renowned awards have fluttered into the house.
