The Story of the Beatles in Two Acts: From Backing Band to Mass Hysteria

The audience can relive that legendary decade when The Beatles seemingly effortlessly produced one global hit after another, driving their competition to despair. The musical is divided into two acts. In the first part, the actors tell the story of The Beatles' beginnings, when they came to Hamburg in 1960 and initially played as a backing band in strip clubs and pubs, later giving their own concerts and eventually breaking through in the USA. In the second part, "Beatlemania" finally erupts. The British band drives their fans into ecstasy at performances and sets new standards in fashion and lifestyle. At the peak of their career, in 1970, The Beatles announced their breakup after their last and world-famous concert on the rooftop of the Apple Records label in London. But the myth lives on to this day!
