Sei nell'anima - Festival European Leg 2025
With her mega-hits "Bello e impossibile," "I maschi," "Latin Lover," "America," "Fotoromanza," "Hey bionda," the anthem of the 1990 World Cup "Un'estate italiana," and many other songs, Italian rock musician Gianna Nannini became known worldwide. Her powerful, smoky voice is her unmistakable trademark.
Now, the Italian rock icon is back to leave her mark on the world. Her new project bears the title of one of her biggest hits: Sei nell'anima. It includes the eponymous album, a film that immediately climbed to the top of Netflix's most-watched titles, the autobiographical book "Sei nell'anima (Cazzi miei)," and her international tour.
After five years of silence, the Italian rock singer released her new successful album "Sei nell'anima" in 2024. The album is the result of an exploration of one of her absolute favorite sounds, that of African American music, which she had already started with her last album "La Differenza," inspired by the blues and recorded in Nashville. The single "Silenzio," the most powerful response to silence, shows how loud quiet can be. With "Sei nell'anima," Nannini embarks on a musical journey back to her roots, to the deep, emotional sounds that have shaped her music and life. "In my view, songs are born from key concepts," Nannini explains. "I started with 'anima,' the Italian word for soul. Every country has its soul, and I was searching for mine. This search became a mission that guided me in composing the twelve tracks of the album."
As part of her tour "Sei nell'anima – Festival European Leg 2025," the Italian rock powerhouse will come to Regensburg and captivate the audience with her electrifying performance.
