James Blunt, 20th Anniversary of Back to Bedlam

2025 marks the 20th anniversary of the groundbreaking album ‘Back To Bedlam’ - reason enough for James Blunt to celebrate it again on a big tour! ‘You're Beautiful’ and “Goodbye My Lover” were his first hits and the starting signal for his great career. James Blunt is now returning 20 years later with a new edition of his debut album ‘Back To Bedlam’ - which was released on 11 October 2004 - and will be taking it on tour in 2025. He will be performing ‘Back To Bedlam’ in its entirety as well as other classic hits from his career. 

This special 20th anniversary edition of the debut includes a 2024 remastered version of the original album, supplemented by previously unheard demos of the main songs and unreleased tracks from the Bedlam era. James Blunt received two Brit Awards and two Ivor Novello Awards for the original album, as well as five Grammy nominations. The Brit adds with a wink: ‘I've released seven studio albums, but “Back To Bedlam” was the only one that people actually bought. So for the twentieth anniversary, the record label and I thought we should repackage it with some early demos and cannibalise it as much as possible. It was one of the best-selling albums of the 2000s, so we hope it makes an impact in the 20s as well.’
