November 28, 2024 marks the start of the Women's EHF EURO 2024, the biggest European Women's Championship of all time! Under the motto "Catch the spirit", this EURO will be held on Austrian soil for the first time, together with Hungary and Switzerland.
Austria is the main organizer, so in addition to two preliminary rounds in Innsbruck, a main round and, as a highlight, the semi-finals and final will take place in the Wiener Stadthalle. This means that the best female handball players in Europe will be playing in the Austrian capital. It is also certain that both the Austrian and German national teams will be playing in Vienna if they successfully qualify for the main round.
The match days of the main round in Vienna are December 5, 7, 9 and 11, 2024, with the semi-finals and the match for fifth place taking place on Friday, December 13. The small and grand finals will take place on Sunday, December 15, 2024.

Wiener Stadthalle is an indoor arena , located in the 15th district of Vienna, Austria . It was designed by Austrian architect Roland Rainer and built from 1953 to 1958 . The arena HAS to overall seating capacity of 16,000 people Approximately .
