Gerhard Polt offers an entertaining "Bavarian Evening" of a special kind, far removed from the white-and-blue veal sausage idyll and beer bliss. In his Panoptikum Bavaricum, Polt, a connoisseur of human nature, reflects the reasons for "Bavaria itself" without exposing it to the unreflective laughter of homo googleensis.

The three Stofferl brothers, Michael and Karl Well, sing about Bavaria and the rest of the world. They invite you on a journey into the absurdities of the Alpine regions, between ski lifts, tropical mountaineering, homeland crimes, hypocrisy, and concrete construction. A virtuoso performance of a fire station meets Bavarian rap, heart-rending yodeling meets rustic, brutal dance, all in the mastered tradition of the Biermösl Blosn with familiar musical sounds and sharp, satirical lyrics in the local dialect. Gerhard Polt and the three Wellbrüder make each of their now rare appearances a huge joy for the audience and for themselves, because before you know it, the crowd has finished drinking, the radish has been eaten, the Schuhplattler has been danced, the story has been told and the yodeling is over!
