A regular guest of the seasons of the Teatro Comunale di Modena, CCN / Aterballetto presents an evening featuring three choreographies, including world premieres and new revivals.

Solo Echo is a creation by Crystal Pite, originally made for Nederlands Dans Theater in 2012 and restaged for CCN / Aterballetto in 2025. The choreography is inspired by two sonatas for cello and piano by Johannes Brahms and by the poem Lines for Winter by Mark Strand, invoking winter, music, and the body to explore a feeling of acceptance and loss.
Reconciliatio is the revival Angelin Preljocaj created from his Suivront mille ans de calme, a 2010 creation. The female duet was presented in 2024 at the Basilica of San Petronio in Bologna during the event Memorare, a preparatory initiative for the 2025 Jubilee. Set to Beethoven’s famous Adagio Moonlight, the piece offers a poetic and impressionistic reading of the Apocalypse, where dance becomes a means to evoke fears, anguish, and hopes, revealing hidden meanings and inner revelations.
Glory Hall is the new creation by Diego Tortelli for the sixteen dancers of Aterballetto. It is a sensory and rebellious journey, between the sacred and the profane, in a suspended space between light and darkness, where the choreography unfolds like an ecstatic rite. In this black environment, never truly dark, sensuality and spirituality intertwine in a continuous play of pleasure, virtuosity, and the search for a personal version of glory.

The Aterballetto company, founded in 1977 and becoming in 2022 the first National Choreographic Centre established in Italy, is today composed of sixteen dancers engaged for entire seasons, working primarily on new productions by internationally renowned choreographers. CCN / Aterballetto is also dedicated to innovative and inclusive artistic development.
Today CCN / Aterballetto is a reality devoted to a plurality of styles and to research in the field of new digital technologies, cosmopolitan, curious, and dynamic. Its productions are appreciated in the most important theatres and festivals in Italy and worldwide.
