To celebrate the 270th anniversary of W. A. ​​Mozart's birth, the world-famous Hohensalzburg Fortress will host a unique "Happy Birthday Mozart Cycle" from the end of January to the end of March, combining culinary delights, musical enjoyment, and a historic atmosphere into an unforgettable experience.

Enjoy a multi-course meal before the concert, culminating in the world-famous dessert "Salzburger Nockerl."
The concert, performed by world-class artists, will take place in the historic Coat of Arms Hall of the fortress, befitting the occasion. Experience this cultural tribute to one of the greatest composers in music history, high above the rooftops of Mozart's city, with an unparalleled view of the city and surrounding countryside.

A unique and unmistakable highlight is the dinner in the Panorama Restaurant on the Fortress Hohensalzburg. High above the rooftops of the city, the evening begins with a  3-course Dinner or VIP Dinner in the most beautiful facilities the restaurant has to offer. The breathtaking view of the city of Salzburg where Mozart was born and the beauty of the landscape, surrounded by majestic mountains, truly are very special indeed. When the weather allows it, those who have purchased the VIP-Dinner/Golden-VIP Dinner & Concert package even have their VIP-Dinner/Golden-VIP Dinner served on the panoramic terrace, guaranteeing another special highlight. And thus, your romantic evening is complete!

After the dinner, the Mozart - Strauss concert, which takes place in the historic and magnificent state rooms on the fortress, constitutes the musical climax in the Salzburg Fortress Concert series.

The concert hall (only Golden hall) unfortunately does not provide disabled access for people with limited mobility.

Are pets allowed in the concert? - Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the concert.

Does the print@home ticket have to be printed out? - Please print out the print@home ticket or show it on your mobile phone/tablet at the fortress funicular counter, in the Panorama Restaurant and at the concert entrance.

What is the dress code? - Dress code: smart-casual

Is the fortress funicular included in the ticket price? - The fortress funicular is included in the ticket price from 30 minutes before dinner begin.

How long does the fortress funicular run? - The ascent with the fortress funicular takes about 2 minutes. The fortress funicular runs every 10 minutes. The fortress funicular is operated until the last concert guest is in the city, until approx. 20 minutes after the concert.

Is there a vegetarian option for dinner? - A vegetarian menu is offered in the evening. This can be ordered directly from the waiter in the evening.
