Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – Don Giovanni | Opera
Libretto by Lorenzo Da Ponte

Mozart’s Don Giovanni, the second new production opening the 2026 season, will be conducted at the Comunale by Enrico Pagano, one of the most talented young Italian conductors. The new production is directed by Andrea Bernard, winner of the European Opera-directing Prize and, in 2024, the Premio Abbiati. “Don Giovanni as a collector, an accumulator of people, stories, and the lives of others,” emphasizes the director, “constantly seeking others to find himself and build his own identity, in an adverse fate that keeps him closely connected with death from the beginning to the end of the opera.”
