"The Inspector" is back! After hundreds of performances, countless sold-out shows, and over half a million enthusiastic visitors, the creators of "FALCO – The Musical" are now bringing the latest masterpiece from the creative team around lead actor Alexander Kerbst on tour, reviving the myth once again: "FALCO MEETS AMADEUS" tells the story of two truly exceptional figures in music history with equally powerful visuals and eccentricity, combining all of Falco's greatest hits live with the thrilling story of the legendary Viennese. The sensational new stage show offers a deep insight into the mind and emotions of the artist and the man behind the dazzling pop icon, paying tribute to the magnificent life's work of "Falco." In 2026, "FALCO MEETS AMADEUS" will embark on a major premiere tour through Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy.

"I'll only be immortal when I'm dead!" These dark, prescient words are the foundation of this new homage to the greatest genius in German-language pop and rap history. "FALCO MEETS AMADEUS" is a gripping and deeply moving musical journey through the formative stages in the life of this striking musician – a man who lived life to the fullest and experienced many ups and downs, even culminating in self-destruction.

Over 60 million records sold, a seemingly limitless number of sold-out concerts worldwide and, to this day, the only German-language song to top the American charts made Falco the most internationally successful Austrian musician of all time alongside Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. In his No. 1 song "Rock Me Amadeus" he sings about Mozart's popularity, debts and his relationship with women - parallels that can be attributed to Falco himself as well as his "rock idol". As a turning point in Falco's career, the song naturally cannot be missing from the new edition of "FALCO MEETS AMADEUS" . Besides "Rock Me Amadeus" and their origins, the two musical geniuses have many other things in common: Both were way ahead of their time, creating their own unique musical style and thus shaping the music of their time like no one else; two complex and controversial characters caught between genius and madness and two excessively led lives that each came to an end far too soon. Falco died at the age of 40 in a car accident in the Dominican Republic, while Mozart died of a severe case of rheumatoid arthritis at the young age of 35. Both lived primarily in Vienna and were buried there. They live on forever in the hearts of their fans, and their musical legacy ultimately immortalized them.

The song selection in this spectacular show includes all of Falco's major hits, such as "Der Kommissar," "Vienna Calling," "Jeanny," and "Out of the Dark," as well as early successes like "Ganz Wien," impressive tracks like "Emotional" and "Coming Home," as well as some unjustly forgotten songs and the now-recently hot new song "Europa." This homage brings the "Falco" back to the stage and presents all the songs live with a five-piece band and outstanding performers. Shrill and extravagant interludes from the dance ensemble breathe new life into the songs and wonderfully round out the stage spectacle.

Insider knowledge and many years of experience as a promise of quality

To ensure authentic implementation, the creative team is supported by Falco's former bandleader Thomas Rabitsch as musical director and Falco's former manager and friend Horst Bork as consultant, who also worked on "FALCO - The Musical." With this insider knowledge and the know-how from the last Falco show, "FALCO MEETS AMADEUS" is already guaranteed to be a hit with audiences. "The extent to which Falco is still able to move and excite people today is truly impressive," emphasizes lead actor Alexander Kerbst, who embodies the eccentric musician in the show alongside Stefan Wessel. He is certain: "If an artist's music still reaches the children and grandchildren of his former fans years after his death, then he is truly immortal."

About the controversial exceptional artist and his music

"That was Falco, but now we're playing proper music." The commentary by radio station Ö3 on a Falco song, well-known among connoisseurs, impressively demonstrates how controversial the artist was during his lifetime. Horst Bork, Falco's former manager and biographer, knows and understands the dilemma: "When it comes to the question of whether and how one can do justice to the artist Falco with a stage show, one can take the easy way out and simply say: absolutely not! But that would have been a shame, because Falco deserves this monument!" The well-known musical producer Oliver Forster emphasizes: "The many reports and interviews, the numerous feedback from audiences, and, last but not least, the consistently high demand for a revival demonstrate how firmly Falco remains anchored in the minds and hearts of music fans. For us, this is, of course, a stroke of luck, because such a venture as with our earlier Falco production and now the adaptation to "FALCO MEETS AMADEUS" only works with true, timeless legends."

Successful concept of musical biographies, also known in modern German as “Biographical”

Successful Passau-based producer and promoter Oliver Forster (COFO Entertainment) has already demonstrated a keen sense for audience tastes as a tour promoter of musical biographies such as "ELVIS – The Musical," "All You Need Is Love! – The Beatles Musical," and "Simply The Best – The Tina Turner Story." COFO has also filled numerous theaters in German-speaking countries in recent years with its own productions featuring global stars such as Michael Jackson ("BEAT IT!") and Frank Sinatra ("That's Life"). This success story now continues with "FALCO MEETS AMADEUS."
