About the Mandelring Quartet
The Mandelring Quartet is distinguished by its expressiveness and phenomenal homogeneity. The four individualists are united by a shared determination to always seek the essence of the music. In the 2025/26 season, the ensemble presents a program featuring Shostakovich’s powerful late string quartets, Beethoven’s masterful String Quartet No. 14, works by György Kurtág in homage to his 100th birthday, as well as quintets by Dvořák and Mozart.
