Metropole Orchestra

The Limburg musicians Frans Pollux and Lex Uiting are teaming up with the Metropole Orkest to perform at the Ziggo Dome for the largest dialect pop concert ever held outside the province! The show is set to take place on Sunday the 25th of January 2026. None other than Chantal Janzen will be the special guest during this show. With her Limburg roots, Chantal Janzen is a wonderful addition to the evening, which is dedicated to Limburg songs.

After the theater tour of Frans Pollux and Lex Uiting with the Metropole Orkest sold out in just a few minutes across eight Limburg venues, an initiative was launched to gauge interest in one final, large-scale show by the duo from Venlo. Amsterdam was chosen as the city, though the venue was yet to be decided. Fans could purchase an ‘Amsterdam Ticket’ for a €10 deposit, securing the right to a ticket for the special concert, even though the date and location were not yet confirmed. Depending on the number of ‘Amsterdam Tickets’ sold, the final venue would be decided: the Concertgebouw, AFAS Live, or Ziggo Dome. Due to the overwhelming interest, the choice for the Ziggo Dome was made quickly. “The fact that this has come together is incredible,” says Frans Pollux. “It’s going to be the biggest concert of our lives. We’re going to make it an unforgettable celebration. The Metropole Orkest is incredibly excited, and Lex and I have a whole year to prepare.”
