Baroque masterpieces played on original instruments bring the sound of the time of their creation to life and offer direct access to the music of the 17th and 18th centuries.

The vocal climax and conclusion of the series showcases the vocal styles of France, Italy, the German-speaking world, and England side by side. The regional characteristics become audible when the musical expression is closely interwoven with the rhythm, timbre, and intonation of the respective language.

Established as Austria's smallest opera and concert hall, the performances in the KRYPTA captivate audiences with their intensity, high quality, and unusual venue. Located deep beneath St. Peter's Church in Vienna, the intimate hall offers a personal experience that attracts guests from all over the world. 

The crypt is pleasantly cool at any time of year.
