On July 26 of this year, Pat Metheny's new album, MoonDial, will be released, continuing from his solo album released last year, Dream Box. After seeing him years ago with his incredible project Orchestrion, Metheny returns to the solo guitar format with a world tour that lands at our festival on November 7. "For me, the idea," the guitarist explained about these concerts, "is to try to continue presenting different angles and ways of thinking about music, while hoping to maintain a common aesthetic throughout." "In other words," he concludes, what he wants is "to continue the search." Pat Metheny is, simply put, tireless and inexhaustible.
