PUPO 50 Story of a Tightrope Walker | Pop-Rock-Jazz-World

On September 11, 2025, Enzo Ghinazzi, known to everyone simply as Pupo, turned 70. A milestone that intertwines with another equally extraordinary occasion: 50 years of his career, during which he wrote some of the most beloved chapters of Italian music, becoming a true legend in Italy and worldwide, capable of speaking to entire generations with the same authenticity and passion. Starting in October, “Pupo 50... Story of a Tightrope Walker” will kick off, a world tour that between 2025 and 2026 will span Europe, America, and Asia. From Vienna to Berlin, from Zurich to London, Paris, Madrid, and across the ocean, including the New Year’s Eve show at the prestigious Nuvola di Fuksas in Rome, concluding with a grand finale at the historic Teatro Verdi in Florence, with the concert scheduled for May 27, 2026.

“Seventy years for someone named Pupo is an impressive number, but I feel more alive and creative than ever. Celebrating this birthday with my audience, on stage around the world, is the greatest gift I could wish for,” comments Pupo, who is about to embark on a journey through music, emotions, and memories that have touched millions of lives. The celebration will begin tomorrow, September 11, his birthday, in Ponticino, at the former Hotel Country, a symbolic place in his story: purchased in the 1980s and lost after a financial crisis also marked by gambling debts, that building has returned to him after years of waiting and redemption, and today represents his personal rebirth.
