Baroque masterpieces played on original instruments bring the sound of the time of their creation to life and offer direct access to the music of the 17th and 18th centuries.

Italian Baroque music, with all its virtuosity, passion, and melodic richness, demonstrates why Italy, as the birthplace of the Baroque, became a style-defining force for all of Europe. Expressive cantilenas, brilliant solo playing, captivating rhythms, and clear dramatic gestures characterize this program.

Established as Austria's smallest opera and concert hall, the performances in the KRYPTA captivate audiences with their intensity, high quality, and unusual venue. Located deep beneath St. Peter's Church in Vienna, the intimate hall offers a personal experience that attracts guests from all over the world.

The crypt is pleasantly cool at any time of year.
