“La Donna è Mobile” is a musical and theatrical journey that narrates the female figure through music and its infinite nuances: inspired by the iconic aria of the Rigoletto, the title becomes a symbol of the versatility, strength and expressive freedom of women, not only as performers, but also as composers and narrators of emotions. At the centre there is Simona Molinari, singer-songwriter and versatile performer with pop and jazz in her vocal chords, co-creator of the show together with Simona Orlando. Joining her on stage is an all-female band made up of musicians with extensive experience in various musical fields: saxophonist and flutist Chiara Lucchini, pianist Sade Mangiaracina, bassist Elisabetta Pasquale and drummer Francesca Remigi. All together, they reinterpret an eclectic repertoire that ranges from opera to contemporary sounds, through the elegance of Lucio Dalla and the intense atmospheres of Milly, to the energy of Billie Eilish. The language of the show traverses different emotions and expressive registers: it starts with ironic and light tones, gradually becoming more decisive and reflective, until it touches deep and moving chords. Each piece is a story, each interpretation a key to enter the world of a woman who tells her story and takes on a voice through music.
“La donna è mobile” is a heartfelt thank you to all the “mobile” women, often defined as uncomfortable. Those who have fought and dared, and who, with their silent but powerful presence, have made possible the artistic voice of women today.

Simona Molinari has several collaborations to her credit that attest to her vocal versatility: Al Jarreau, Gilberto Gil, Peter Cincotti, Andrea Bocelli, Ornella Vanoni, Renzo Arbore, Massimo Ranieri, Raphael Gualazzi. She has performed at the Blue Note in New York and Tokyo, the Estrada Theatre in Moscow and many other clubs and theatres around the world. She participated at the Sanremo festival with her songs “Egocentrica” and "La Felicità" and twice more as a guest. In 2019, she made her acting debut in the film C'è Tempo by Walter Veltroni, signing some of the songs on the soundtrack. In 2022 she was awarded the Targa Tenco as Best Interpreter for the album Petali. In November 2023, she released an album entitled Hasta Siempre Mercedes, with which she paid tribute to one of the most influential and symbolic artists in Latin America, the Argentinian Mercedes Sosa.
