Synopsis/Details

FRANCESCA MICHIELIN - LIVE IN THEATRES 2026 | Pop-Rock-Jazz-World

Francesca Michielin is one of the most complete and interesting artists in today’s music scene. A singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, on 24 February 2023 she released her new album project Cani Sciolti accompanied by the single quello che ancora non c’è, released by Columbia Records/Sony Music Italy, and preceded by the tracks bonsoir and occhi grandi grandi.

In 2022 she celebrated ten years of her career, dedicating herself to new important projects: her debut as a writer with her first novel Il cuore è un organo (Mondadori), and as a presenter leading Effetto terra (Sky Nature) and the new edition of X Factor, returning to where it all began with her 2012 triumph.

A natural continuation of this new and original musical wave is the bonsoir! – Michielin10 theatre tour, produced by Vivo Concerti, which is bringing Francesca to some of Italy’s most historic and magical stages with sold-out performances. The theatre tour was preceded by six musical meetings, Suono di sabato al Mosso, which colored the 2022 autumn and winter weekends at Mosso in Milan with sold-out shows. Also in 2022, she participated in the Sanremo Festival as a conductor and during the cover night, and works as a songwriter and producer for artists such as Fabri Fibra. With the song Nei tuoi occhi – from the soundtrack of the film Marylin ha gli occhi neri with Miriam Leone and Stefano Accorsi – she received a nomination for the David di Donatello award in the category “Best Original Song.”

Venue
Teatro Verdi Florence

Teatro Verdi is one of Florence’s most historic and important venues for theatre, music and live entertainment. Located at Via Ghibellina 99 in the historic Santa Croce district, the theatre has been part of the city’s cultural life since the 19th century. It was inaugurated on September 10, 1854, originally under the name Teatro Pagliano, on the site of the former fourteenth-century Stinche prison. The theatre was renamed Teatro Verdi in 1901, in honour of the famous Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi.

The venue is the largest Italian-style theatre in Tuscany, featuring a traditional auditorium with stalls, a gallery and six tiers of boxes. It has a total capacity of 1,538 seats, including 808 seats in the stalls, 125 in the gallery and 605 across the six tiers of boxes. Over the decades, Teatro Verdi has hosted opera, classical music, theatre, jazz, pop, rock, dance and comedy, maintaining a diverse programme to this day. Since 1998, it has been owned by the ORT Foundation and serves as a permanent home for rehearsals and concerts by the Orchestra della Toscana.

Thanks to its central location, Teatro Verdi is easily accessible by public transport. Several Autolinee Toscane bus lines have stops near the theatre. Visitors arriving by train can travel to Santa Maria Novella Station, approximately 1.5 km away, or Campo di Marte Station, around 1.7 km away. Both stations are connected to the theatre by public transport and can also be reached on foot. The theatre is also only about 750 metres from Piazza del Duomo, making it convenient for visitors exploring Florence's historic centre.
