In 2026, the Music Awards will celebrate the remarkable milestone of their twentieth edition. Among the most important music events in Italy, held since 2007, the ceremony honors the leading figures of the national music scene, recognizing achievements in albums, singles, tours—a true testament to success in the music market.
The Music Awards are set to offer two unforgettable and special evenings to celebrate this exceptional anniversary, on Friday, September 18 and Saturday, September 19, 2026 (show starts at 8:30 PM), in the spectacular setting of the Arena di Verona, now a symbolic venue for the event, hosting it for the sixteenth time.
Since 2007, across all editions, the Music Awards have welcomed over 600 artists on stage and awarded more than 1,000 prizes, figures that reflect both the longevity of the event and the vitality of the Italian music market.
Over twenty years, the award has evolved in step with industry changes, beginning in its first edition with awards solely for album sales, later adding recognitions for singles (with the rise of digital music consumption) and awards for tour and live event results. Additionally, special awards are presented by industry associations and partners, along with lifetime achievement honors, confirming the Music Awards’ ability to chart, year after year, the evolution of the entire Italian live music and entertainment scene.
