The queen of disco music arrives in Naples for a single Italian date, accompanied by the Orchestra del Massimo Napoletano conducted by Maurizio Agostini.

Naples' Arena Flegrea is preparing to host a night destined to become one of the major events of summer 2026. On Saturday, June 27, at 9:00 PM, the largest open-air arena in Southern Italy will host "Legendary Night – Gloria Gaynor and the Orchestra del Teatro di San Carlo," a special concert featuring the legendary American artist alongside the Orchestra del Teatro di San Carlo, conducted by Maestro Maurizio Agostini.

The event, the only date of its kind in Italy, is born from the synergy between the Arena Flegrea and the Fondazione Teatro di San Carlo and marks a moment of great symbolic value for the city: the return of the Orchestra del Massimo Napoletano to the Arena Flegrea, a venue deeply rooted in the history of the San Carlo.

Built in 1940 as the Teatro's summer home and inaugurated in 1952 with a production of Aida, the Arena thus returns to be the stage for an extraordinary encounter between great international music, lyric-symphonic tradition, and Neapolitan identity.
