Konrad Paul Liessmann, born in 1953, is Professor of Methods of Teaching Philosophy and Ethics at the University of Vienna. Since 1996 he has directed the Philosophicum Lech. Numerous publications on topics in aesthetics and education policy. His book Theorie der Unbildung. Die Irrtümer der Wissensgesellschaft (Theory of Ignorance. The Errors of the Knowledge Society) was also a broad popular success. Together with Michael Köhlmeier he wrote the books Wer hat dir gesagt, dass du nackt bist, Adam and Der werfe den ersten Stein, mythological-philosophical essays.
